Brakes for Kids: Together, We Can Make a Difference
At Sedam Tire, we believe caring for vehicles is only part of our responsibility. Caring for people, especially children and families in need, matters just as much. That’s why we were proud to participate in Brakes for Kids, a national initiative that turns essential brake services into meaningful support for children’s healthcare.
If you’ve visited our shop recently, you may have noticed something special: our walls are being filled with hearts. Each heart represents a customer who chose to participate in our Brakes for Kids initiative. Every single one is a reminder of a family who decided to make a real impact, not just on their vehicle’s safety, but on a child’s life.
This was our first year participating in Brakes for Kids, and from day one, we were committed to doing it the right way.
How the Brakes for Kids Campaign Works
From February 1 through March 31, customers who participated received:
✨ FREE brake pads or shoes with any brake repair
✨ A FREE brake inspection throughout the entire campaign
✨ 10% of the repair cost donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
It’s a simple idea with powerful results: do something good for your vehicle, and something extraordinary for a child’s life. Thanks to our customers and the dedication of our team, we were able to donate $3,131.42 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Supporting an organization that provides world‑class care to children and families, regardless of their ability to pay, is truly an honor. This result belongs to everyone who trusted us, supported the campaign, and chose to give back.
We are incredibly grateful to our customers, our community, and the entire Sedam Tire team for making this campaign a success. Seeing our walls fill with hearts, and knowing what each one represents, reminds us why we do what we do. Brakes for Kids is more than a campaign. It’s a reminder that small actions, taken together, can make a meaningful difference.
